Corvin Cristian studio is specialised in the design of commercial interiors and hospitality projects, becoming a benchmark that combines functionality, aesthetic and sustainability. Led by architect Corvin Cristian, the team is characterised by bringing a distinctive stamp to each creation. THE CLIENT: FRENCH REVOLUTION ECLAIRS

French Revolution Eclairs is an artisan patisserie, dedicated to a single product, which transmits the sophistication of French patisserie to all its creations. They reinvent the world's most delicate pastry, the éclair, and always make it with fresh, high quality ingredients. French Revolution shops are places where you can enjoy a coffee and a freshly made éclair, where their philosophy is clearly reflected: modernity, elegance and dedication to the product.

THE PROJECT

In this fourth joint project, Corvin Cristian has designed a space that revolves entirely around the product. The shop, located on the ground floor of an office building, is adaptable and replicable, conceived to put the focus on éclairs. Stainless steel dominates the design, solid walnut furniture, designed in the shape of éclairs, reinforces the thematic concept, while Tekio Santa & Cole paper lamps add warmth to the atmosphere. The overhead mirrors, inspired by Adolf Loos' American Bar in Vienna, multiply the space, creating an atmosphere of infinite production.

THE STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel plays a leading role in the design of this establishment due to its functionality and aesthetic value. This material, widely used in professional kitchens, symbolises cleanliness, freshness and precision, qualities that reflect the essence of the brand.

In this design, the stainless steel used, AISI 304, is chosen to evoke a professional baking and refrigeration unit, reinforcing the connection with the product's production processes. At the same time, its chromatic neutrality allows the visual focus to fall on the eclairs, avoiding unnecessary distractions. This minimalist approach emphasises the product as the centre of attention, aligning with the shop's design philosophy. Combined with the warmth of the wood and the softness of the lighting, stainless steel meets the studio's requirement for permanence,  a strong, colourless material which is aging-proof.
