Led by Shushana, interior and furniture designer, the Studio is known for creating unique spaces that reflect the identity of each client. Based in Armenia, they  work with a personal  approach, collaborating closely with local artisans to ensure that every detail is original and functional.

In this case, the brief was to transform a space on Northern Avenue, Yerevan, into a concept shop for estil.io. Shushana says: ‘It was essential to capture the brand identity and make the interior calm, welcoming and full of memorable touches, but without forgetting that the product is the main focus. I think we succeeded in meeting this challenge.

THE CLIENT: ESTIL.IO

The client, Kristina Hunayan, wanted the shop to reflect the philosophy of estil.io: to inspire people to surround themselves with beauty and highlight their unique personality. estil.io promotes the idea of surrounding oneself with objects that are not only functional, but also uplift the mood and enrich everyday spaces. The brand specialises in offering carefully selected decorative pieces that combine “‘naturalness, clean lines and bright accents” to stand out in any environment.

The transformation included the removal of unnecessary partitions, which allowed the space to be reorganised to create a fluid and coherent design. The reception counter became the central element, integrating a bar where visitors can enjoy drinks and desserts.

The design also includes a seating area with sofas, armchairs and coffee tables, providing a cosy atmosphere. The space is adaptable, with tables of different heights and shapes in the centre for flexible product display.

The design palette combines warm wall colours, raw stone finishes, metallic surfaces and vibrant blue and red accents while textures and shapes reinforce the aesthetic of the space.

THE STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel was central to the shop's design. One of the prominent elements is the ‘metal strip’ that descends from the ceiling, curves and extends to the floor.

All the metal elements were created by the local company Moon Metal, based on STUDIO SHOO's sketches. These include shelves, display stands and other structural details that combine functionality and aesthetics. The use of stainless steel in contrast to the soft, warm finishes underlines the concept of the shop: a balance between the natural and the contemporar
