Belonging to New Jersey, Hoboken is just some minutes away from the Big Apple and has the appeal of a smaller city with more relaxed lifestyle. From this city, many people go by train or ferry to Midtown or the Financial District everyday.
Many Memorials have been built to honour the victims of the September 11th 2001 terrorist's attacks where so many people were killed and 56 of those people were residents of the city of Hoboken. To keep the memory of the victims alive for posterity, the Hoboken Council approved the construction of a memorial located at Pier A Park.
It consists of 56 3" glass monolight etched with the name and year of birth of each victim, mounted on a stainless steel beam structure manufactured with NAS, North American Stainless, stainless steel T316L because its excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environment.
