Raw materials used are: carbon steel scrap, stainless steel scrap, and ferroalloys.
Special grades require the addition of molybdenum, titanium, etc.
Raw materials are melted in an electric arc furnace (EAF). Once the melting process is finished, the liquid steel is poured to a ladle and the next step is the AOD.
The molten steel is refined in the converter. Carbon, silicon and sulphur are removed by blowing argon through the melt.
Liquid stainless steel becomes solid. The billet continuous casting has four strands and the billet section is 200 x 200 mm.
